Who We Are
KLA Schools is a dynamic, developmentally appropriate program that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of early childhood education. An inviting, respectful, and consistent environment, our goal is to provide a place where children’s abilities, competences, and natural aptitudes are nurtured in ways that develop new and inherent talents.
Our educators believe in the child’s competency and potential. They embrace children’s ideas, points of view and participation in their learning experience. Our educators appreciate professional development in understanding more and more about the child’s thinking and learning processes.
Children have their own strengths and interests, and when given the opportunity to share, they support the expansion of the knowledge of their peers and teachers. At KLA Schools, we offer children a place to become aware of their love for learning. Children are honored in our program and acknowledged as the protagonists of their learning experience.
What Makes Us Unique
Our programs are based on a connection between children’s ideas and the teachers’ intention. From projections to provocations, the identity of the child and class is clear in all that we do. We believe children learn doing what they love!
Rich Learning Environment
Invigorating furnishings, stimulating materials, proper lighting, visible and inviting spaces and colors create places conducive to your child’s learning needs.
Frequent and Open Communication with Parents
Daily journals, photos, a parent website and designated parent corner in every classroom allow our families to see what their child is doing and stay up to date on our latest events.
Endless Opportunities for Parent Involvement
In addition to regularly scheduled events including Parent Night, Parent Assembly, and Family Picnics, we also encourage family members to come into the classroom to share a story, project or experience.
Utilization of a Variety of Art Mediums and Styles
We encourage the creative and joyful exploration of each child’s world by exposing them to clay, paints, tracing, cutting, the use of recyclables, natural materials, and more.
Like becoming part of a family, the whole school, not just the teacher but all members of the staff, know your child.
Low Student to Teachers Ratio
Smaller class size and individualized attention has long lasting positive effects on children’s learning, especially when given this privilege during early years of education.
Cleanliness as a priority
Beautiful hardwood floors that allow our staff and custodians to keep the school spotless. Our commitment to the health and safety of our students made the choice to have Zono Machines extremely easy. We use it daily to disinfect all of our toys, making sure that each day the students of our facility are using safe and clean materials.
We believe that all children have a right to high quality education. At the core of this concept is the child’s natural curiosity of their world coupled with a respect for the countless qualities and values that we believe each child is born with.

We love the warm, embracing, creative atmosphere the faculty and staff initiate. I was so afraid when I went back to work that my three-year-old and one-year-old would be upset to go to school full-time. Instead, they were happy to be engaged in activities all day. A highlight of the year was the art exhibit! The school goes out of its way to create a sense of community.

This is one of the best, if not the best school! The staff is wonderful, teachers are amazing and the administration is wonderful. Our daughter loves going to school and she is learning new things everyday. Hope it will go all the way to High School so she would never leave!!

I love this place! KLA has exceeded my expectations in every way. Jacob is growing and learning so much, and he is a confident, happy little boy. This is due to the environment at KLA and his teachers and the staff. I appreciate the updates every day and hearing about everything he is doing! KLA has been a wonderful home away from home for Jacob.

Everything I could possibly say about this place is absolutely awesome, from environment to staff, everything is beautiful designed for out little ones to feel they belong to this place, everybody at school is friendly and always happy, and they go beyond to professionalism to care about your personal life. They are really involved with the kids, they give you daily reports of the awesome time the little ones have while they are in their care. I wouldn’t doubt for a minute that this is the best place for my little son! He is my biggest treasure and they make sure that I feel he is treated that way!

I highly recommend KLA schools for all children and wish the program extended longer. The facility is always clean, the food is excellent, the supplies they provide the children are first class and most important the staff is caring, kind and lots of fun. Thank you KLA my son will never forget his experience here I only wish I would have been able to start him younger.

My family and I adore KLA Pembroke Pines! From its unique educational approach to its warm and caring staff, we would absolutely recommend to other families!

My little girl has been in this school for the last two years and she loves her teachers at KLA Aventura. I find this beautiful pre-k School to be an excellent option for my daughter because they have a curriculum that let the kids explore their creativity in a very small environment, enhance an intuitive learning and motivate the “out of the box” thinking in the students. In addition, the direct and open communication with the Director of the school and all the teachers is a very positive asset because they care about the individuality of each student.
