At KLA Schools of Bellevue, summer is a continuation of our educational approach—reimagined through movement, exploration, and discovery. During the summer months, children remain engaged in meaningful learning experiences that invite them to move their bodies, express creativity, investigate how things work, and explore the natural world around them.
Our On the Go — A Journey Through Movement theme is thoughtfully woven into the school day, allowing children to experience summer learning that feels joyful, purposeful, and familiar—while still offering the excitement and flexibility of the season. Programs are offered for enrolled children, with experiences tailored by age group. Session dates vary.
Music, Rhythm, Dance, and Sports
Children explore movement through music, dance, sports, and collaborative games. This session supports coordination, confidence, and self-expression while encouraging teamwork and physical well-being.
Exploring How Machines Move
Through hands-on design and construction, children investigate how machines and structures move. This session encourages problem-solving, creativity, and early engineering thinking through playful exploration.
Creative Flow, Art & Design
Children express ideas through drawing, design, and visual arts while exploring movement through creative materials. This session nurtures imagination, artistic expression, and communication.
Nature, Animals of Air, Land & Sea
Young learners explore how animals move across different environments while engaging in nature-based investigations. This session fosters curiosity, observation, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
