Welcome to KLA Schools of River Oaks!

Nearly two decades of leadership experience in the Houston market has brought me the opportunity of a lifetime in launching KLA-Schools of River Oaks in the heart of the city that made me. I whole-heartedly believe that the Reggio philosophy, which is the foundation of the many KLA Schools across the nation that came before us, in addition to the high quality of care that KLA families have come to know, is what has been missing in our wonderfully diversified city. This fact coupled with my unwavering passion for children and the families who love them, made the decision to accept the role as Head of School a no-brainer. I look forward to meeting all our families and welcoming them to the KLA way!

With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Samantha brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love for helping young children grow and thrive. She is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that make every child feel excited to come to school each day. Now joining KLA- Schools of River Oaks, Samantha is thrilled to be part of a Montessori-inspired environment that encourages independence, exploration, and hands-on learning. She loves creating a space where our community feels welcomed, loved and most importantly safe . Samantha truly believes that strong connections with families & teachers are the heart of a successful school community. She is excited to welcome everyone with open arms, build meaningful relationships, and partner together to support every child’s unique journey.
