Two-year-olds

Class of the 2s

We offer opportunities for children to encounter challenges that promote individual identity and collaborative play.

In addition to emotional growth, the physical growth of fine motor skills provides two-year-olds with greater manipulative control and an increased desire for independence.

Encouraging Independence

As your two-year-old discovers all the things they can do, they will want to communicate with others and to do more things on their own.

Our educators understand this and use various sensorial, fine motor, and gross motor experiences to encourage your child’s literacy and comprehension skills and desire for independence. These experiences also allow your child to interact with peers, become more social and begin to develop emotional control.
