Executive Director

Taylor has over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, and is dedicated to enriching young minds through the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy. This approach emphasizes hands-on learning, creativity, and collaborative exploration, inspiring children to discover their interests and learn through play.

At KLA Schools of Chamblee, Taylor creates a nurturing environment where each child's unique talents and abilities are celebrated. We believe in fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning promoted by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Through meaningful partnerships with families, she ensures that every child receives personalized care and support.

Outside of her profession, Taylor enjoys spending time with family, coaching competitive cheerleading, exploring Atlanta with her son and partner who are huge Braves fans.

Ayla Taylor

Director of Operations

Ayla's passion for early childhood education began at just 13 years old, and from that moment, she knew her heart belonged in nurturing and guiding young learners. She joined KLA Schools in 2022 as an Assistant Teacher in Nido A and later transitioned into the Lead Teacher role in 2A, building strong connections with both her students and their families.

After briefly stepping away to explore nursing school, Ayla quickly realized that her true calling was in early education. Now, in a leadership role, she is thrilled to be back, not only supporting the growth and development of young children but also uplifting and inspiring fellow educators.

To Ayla, KLA Schools is more than just a place of learning—it’s a community where curiosity is nurtured, relationships flourish, and children grow into incredible individuals. She is excited to continue making a meaningful impact and being part of each child’s journey

Apriah Byard

Pedagogical Coordinator

Apriah has been a valued member of the KLA Schools of Chamblee family for the past five years. Beginning her journey as an Assistant Teacher, she advanced to Lead Teacher and now serves as our Pedagogical Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about fostering meaningful learning through the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

In her role, Apriah mentors and supports our teaching team while helping create engaging, child-centered learning environments where curiosity, creativity, and collaboration thrive. She believes every child is capable, competent, and full of potential, and she works closely with educators and families to ensure each child receives a thoughtful and inspiring educational experience.

Apriah is dedicated to cultivating a culture of reflection, innovation, and excellence. She looks forward to partnering with families and teachers to nurture confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners.

Abigail Frost

Aterlierista

Abigail has been a valued member of the KLA Schools of Chamblee family since 2023. She holds an Associate of Science degree and brings a diverse background working with children through preschool and church nursery programs, as well as private nannying. Her dedication to nurturing children's creativity and natural curiosity led to her promotion as KLA's Atelierista, where she combines her passion for early childhood education with her lifelong love of the arts

.As Atelierista, Abigail designs beautiful, inspiring studio experiences that invite children to express their thinking through painting, collage, sculpture, mixed media, and a variety of open-ended materials. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, she believes every child communicates through the "hundred languages" of art, imagination, and exploration.She collaborates closely with teachers to extend classroom projects, document children's learning, and create meaningful opportunities for creative expression.
