FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE - January 3, 2023
For KLA Schools, it sure has been a year to remember, full of memorable experiences and many cherished moments with students, families, and educators.

The month started off with a special visitor. Bringing pure happiness to all ages, students had the opportunity to participate in the magic by getting their pictures taken with Santa himself. Many students enjoyed sharing special cards and handmade pictures for him to take back home!

On Saturday, December 10th, preschool and kindergarten students participated in bringing some holiday cheer for everyone to hear! Students from the Plainfield location took the stage at Christ Community Church, while students from the two Naperville locations presented in the auditorium of Yellowbox Church off Ogden Ave. Stephanie Schulz, KLA Schools of Plainfield School Principal, said, “after two long years, it was great to have one of our largest events back in person and be able to see the joy on all the parents’ faces.”

For the second year in a row, KLA Schools partnered with The Naperville Branch as one of the main partners for the annual Giving Tree. KLA Schools believes in inspiring children to know that their actions make an impact. Students from the Plainfield, Naperville, and Naperville West locations came together on Thursday, December 15th, and helped wrap all donated gifts. This year, families and educators from all three locations helped sponsor ten local families and delivered gifts that brought joy to a total of 25 children this Christmas season!

KLA Schools of Naper-Plainfield is very thankful for the Parent Partnership that has been established within the schools, and each year, they are continued to be blown away with their support of everything they do as a school.

KLA Schools closed the year full of optimism, positivity, and gratitude with a Professional Development day on Friday, December 30th. During this time, the team of educators participated in a training on communicating effectively with empathy with Laura Sambrookes-McQuade, the Founder and Pediatric Speech Pathologist at Aurora Pediatric Therapy & Integrative Health. After individual team meetings to reflect on the year, all three schools came together to end the afternoon by announcing their Heroes of the Year, a celebration of recognizing individual team members for their dedication and hard work.

Are you looking to make this year one to remember for your child? KLA Schools of Naperville, Naperville West, and Plainfield have open enrollment and offer personalized virtual and in-person Saturday visits by appointment.
