Yanet Ortiz
Director
My name is Yanet Ortiz. I was born in Cuba, lived in Spain for
five years and moved to Miami in 1985 where I studied
Education. I am married and a proud mother of two children,
Juan Carlos who is 15 years old and Annette who is 12 years
old. They are my daily inspiration.
I have been in the field of Education for 30 years, started in the
classroom as a teacher, then moved into administration as an
Assistant Director and Director. I now have the privilege of
being the Director of KLA Schools of West Kendall.
My goal is to make everyone’s experience at our school a
positive and meaningful one. I strive to meet the needs of each
child and family in our KLA community.
