We look forward to welcoming your family to KLA Schools.

Choosing your child’s first school is one of the most meaningful decisions a family makes. The early years shape how children think, explore, and see themselves as learners.

At KLA Schools, we believe a child’s first-school experience should do more than prepare children for kindergarten. It should spark curiosity, nurture confidence, and build the foundation for a lifetime of joyful learning.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and enriched by decades of research in early childhood development, the KLA Educational Program supports children as they grow into learners who are:

Prepared
- with a strong academic foundation for kindergarten and beyond
Curious
- confident explorers of the world around them
Understood - seen as capable individuals with unique ideas, voices, and potential

During your visit, you’ll experience how our classrooms and learning environments are thoughtfully designed for the way young children learn best.

What to Expect During Your Tour

Your visit is an opportunity to experience the school in action and see how curiosity drives learning at KLA.

Most tours take place while our classrooms are active, so you’ll be able to observe children engaged in hands-on exploration, collaborative projects, and meaningful learning experiences.

During your tour, you will:

  • Explore our thoughtfully designed classrooms and learning environments
  • See children investigating ideas through art, building, storytelling, and play
  • Learn how our educators guide children through inquiry-based experiences that build strong academic foundations• Meet members of our leadership team and ask questions about your child’s first-school experience

Feel free to bring your child with you.
Many families enjoy letting their child explore the classrooms and learning spaces during the visit, so you can experience the environment together.

What Families Often Tell Us After Their Visit

Many parents arrive for their first visit unsure what to expect from a Reggio-inspired learning environment. After touring the school, we often hear things like:

“The classrooms feel calm, creative, and thoughtfully designed for children.”
“The children were so engaged in what they were doing.”
“You can tell the teachers truly understand each child.”
“This feels very different from a typical preschool.”

Seeing learning in action often helps families understand how the right early childhood environment can spark a lifelong love of learning. We’re excited that you’ll be visiting with us soon!
