Rennee Lux is deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of early childhood education and fostering meaningful, child-centered learning experiences. With over a decade of dedicated experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE), she brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong passion for child development to KLA Schools of Lakewood Ranch.

Her professional journey reflects a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape, having served as a VPK Lead Teacher, a specialized substitute for the county, and a Preschool Director. Rennee is currently furthering her expertise by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Child Development, ensuring that her approach remains rooted in the latest research and best practices.

At the heart of her work is a clear mission: to create an environment where every child feels seen, heard, and inspired to explore the world around them.

Tyra Harrington

Assistant Director

My name is Tyra Harrington; I am excited to serve as the Assistant Director at KLA School of Lakewood Ranch. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Sociology. Supporting children and families has always been at the main focal point to my work, and I am passionate about creating environments where every child feels safe, confident, and excited to learn.

In my previous professional roles as a head-start teacher and counselor, I gained extensive knowledge in communicating with children and their support systems across diverse cultural, behavioral, and historical backgrounds. These roles strengthened my ability to listen deeply, collaborate effectively, and help families and staff navigate challenges with compassion and clarity. I value teamwork, open communication, and a positive, solution-focused approach.

Joining the KLA School of Lakewood Ranch community is truly meaningful to me. I am committed to empowering children, uplifting families, and contributing to a school environment where growth, joy, and curiosity flourish.
