A Place Where the Lakewood Ranch Community Comes Together
At KLA Schools of Lakewood Ranch, we believe children learn best when they feel connected—to their educators, to one another, to their families, and to the community around them.
At the center of this experience is our Piazza, a shared gathering space inspired by the town squares of Italy and an important element of our Reggio Emilia-inspired environment. Rather than simply connecting classrooms, the Piazza creates a place for relationships, ideas, and experiences to come together.
Throughout the day, children may meet here to exchange ideas, share discoveries, collaborate, or engage with experiences that extend beyond their individual classrooms. Educators use the space to connect and make learning visible, while families are welcomed into a shared environment that reflects their important role in the life of our school.
More Than a Gathering Space
The Piazza represents something central to the KLA experience: learning is strengthened through relationships and participation. It helps create a school where children of different ages can encounter one another, families feel connected, and the entire school community can share meaningful moments together.
At KLA Schools of Lakewood Ranch, our Piazza:
- Creates opportunities for children to connect and learn across classrooms
- Provides a welcoming space for families to participate in school life
- Brings our community together for celebrations, projects, and shared experiences
- Encourages conversation, collaboration, curiosity, and a sense of belonging
From a child's first days with us to the many discoveries and milestones that follow, the Piazza helps make KLA Schools of Lakewood Ranch feel like more than a preschool—it is a community where children and families can grow together.
