KLA Schools Celebrates Grandparents Day with a Heartwarming Day of Connection and Creativity

Plainfield, Naperville West and Naperville, Illinois— September 2026 — KLA Schools recently welcomed grandparents and families for its annual Grandparents Day celebration, bringing generations together for a memorable day of connection, creativity, and shared experiences.

Throughout the event, grandparents had the opportunity to step into their grandchildren’s school environment, spend time alongside them, and experience a little of the joy, curiosity, and sense of community that shape their days at KLA Schools.

Families participated in hands-on experiences together, including creating colorful suncatchers and personalized photo frames, as well as playing games and enjoying time together throughout the school.

For many grandparents, the most meaningful part of the celebration was simply having dedicated time to be present with their grandchildren.

One grandparent stopped to personally thank the KLA Schools team for continuing the Grandparents Day tradition each year. With their granddaughter preparing to enter kindergarten next year, the family shared that this would be their final KLA Grandparents Day and expressed how much they have enjoyed attending the celebration over the years.

Grandparents also complimented the beauty and welcoming atmosphere of the school and expressed their appreciation for having an event created especially for children and their extended families.

“Seeing grandparents and children creating, playing, and simply enjoying being together made the day incredibly special,” said Ms.Erica. “These relationships are such an important part of a child’s life, and we love creating opportunities for families to become part of their child’s experience at KLA Schools.”
