KLA Schools of Plainfield, Naperville, and Naperville West: A Season of Joy and Celebration

A Season of Joy, Community, and Celebration:
Our Holiday Program created a joyful day filled with celebration and meaningful memories.

Our 3- and 4-year-old students proudly shared songs, poems, and dances with their families. The children amazed us with their confidence, focus, and enthusiasm throughout their individual performances.

“This was so fun! Thank you so much for all that you do to make events so special!”

Our music teacher, Ms. Lori, shared:
“The children were so focused and confident. They listened attentively and performed beautifully.”

Events like our Holiday Program reflect the strong relationships we build together and the supportive environment that allows our children to shine both on and off the stage.

Thank you to our incredible teachers, families, and community partners for making this season so special.

Reflecting on the 2025 School Year:
As we reflect on the 2025 school year, we are filled with gratitude for a year marked by growth, connection, and strong partnerships across KLA Schools of Naperville, Naperville West, and Plainfield. From the beginning of the year to its close, our community came together to support children, families, and one another in meaningful ways.

Family partnership remained at the heart of everything we did. Through Parent–Teacher Conferences, parent nights, school committee meetings, and classroom celebrations, we strengthened collaboration between families, teachers, and leadership, honoring our shared belief that parents are a child’s first teachers and that partnership is essential to every child’s success.

This year also brought growth and new opportunities for our school community. We introduced a new School Day Program (8:30 AM–3:30 PM) to better support families. Our students experienced joyful learning through classroom events, parades, and milestone celebrations, including Preschool Graduation. In March, we celebrated Reading Month with a community-wide book drive, donating books to Bernie’s Book Bank, while also highlighting Cultural Month, where children explored diversity and learned about different countries, traditions, and cultures from around the world.

Creativity and connection continued through Summer Camp: Communication Adventure, Unlocking the Power of Expression Through Stories, Nature, and Sound. Students enjoyed music, movement, and special experiences, including visits from DJ Jason during summer camp and again at our Fall Festival, where all three schools came together in celebration. As warmer months approached, our organic school gardens came to life, giving children hands-on opportunities to plant, grow, and care for nature, deepening their connection to the environment and healthy living.

As the year came to a close, the holiday season reminded us of the power of generosity and community. In November, our schools partnered in food drives supporting local pantries in both Naperville and Plainfield. Through our Giving Tree and our five-year partnership with the Naperville and Plainfield Branches, our community supported eight local families and positively impacted thirty children. Santa Ray’s visit brought joy to our schools, and we shared meaningful moments celebrating together, saying goodbye to Ms. Joan as she began a new chapter with her family, and welcoming Ms. Lori from The Music Suite as our new music enrichment teacher.

Thank you to our families, staff, students, and community partners for making the 2025 school year one filled with learning, kindness, and connection. We are grateful to grow together and look forward to all that lies ahead.
