NAPERVILLE, IL (MARCH 23, 2023) – KLA Schools is proud to announce the success of its annual Cultural Day celebration. Throughout the month of March, the children of KLA Schools have been learning about different cultures and traditions from around the world. On Thursday, March 23rd night, the 3s-Kindergarten class showcased their hard work and dedication in a cultural performance that amazed everyone.

The children had been practicing daily for their performance, and it was clear that their hard work had paid off. The Cultural Night showcased India, Mexico, and Moldova; the children performed songs, counted in different languages, and studied countries represented within our school. The student's ability to showcase their cultural heritage with pride and enthusiasm impressed the audience.

The festivities didn't stop there! The school hosted its annual Cultural Parade earlier in the month, where students wore traditional costumes or colors that represented their culture. The students beamed with excitement as their families cheered them on.

The celebration of diversity is at the heart of KLA Schools' philosophy. Families were invited to join classrooms and share their culture with teachers and students, regardless of language spoken, cultural differences, or specific traditions. As M Scott Peck said, "The key to community is the acceptance, in fact, the celebration, of our individual and cultural differences. It is also the key to world peace."

The Nido students celebrated Holi, the Festival of Colors, which marks the end of winter in India. Studying different cultures allows children to learn about acceptance, the world around them, and what makes each person unique.

KLA Schools would like to thank all the families who came out to celebrate cultural diversity and uniqueness. The school's first Cultural Parade and Night were a huge success, and the children of KLA Schools continue to learn and grow in an environment that values and celebrates their differences.
