At KLA Schools of Wallingford, summer is a continuation of our educational approach—reimagined through movement, exploration, and discovery. During the summer months, children remain engaged in meaningful learning experiences that invite them to move their bodies, express creativity, investigate how things work, and explore the natural world around them.
Our On the Go — A Journey Through Movement theme is thoughtfully woven into the school day, allowing children to experience summer learning that feels joyful, purposeful, and familiar—while still offering the excitement and flexibility of the season. Programs are offered for enrolled children, with experiences tailored by age group. Session dates vary.
Music, Rhythm, Dance, and Sports
Children will experience the joy of movement through music, dance, sports, and collaborative games that support coordination, confidence, and teamwork.
Exploring How Machines Move
Campers will design, construct, and experiment with moving creations while strengthening creativity, problem-solving skills, and early engineering thinking.
Creative Flow, Art & Design
Young artists will explore movement through drawing and design, encouraging imagination, creativity, and self-expression.
Nature, Animals of Air, Land & Sea
Children will investigate how animals move across different environments while participating in nature-inspired activities that spark curiosity and deepen their connection to the world around them.
