Children can begin their journey as early as 6 weeks old, with programs extending through school age (up to 12 years) at select locations. Each stage is designed to meet children where they are developmentally, emotionally, and socially.

KLA Schools doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all model. Our Reggio Emilia–inspired approach encourages children to learn through hands-on exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. Our classrooms aren’t just places to sit and listen; they’re environments built to inspire.

Our curriculum builds essential academic, social, and emotional skills through inquiry-based learning. Graduates of KLA Schools go on to thrive in top private and public schools, with a strong foundation in confidence, independence, and curiosity.

All of our teachers meet or exceed the state of Florida’s requirements for early childhood educators, including completion of the 45-hour training mandated by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). Many of our educators also hold bachelor’s degrees, some from international universities, and several are actively pursuing advanced coursework or certifications in early childhood or elementary education. We are proud to support ongoing professional development to ensure our staff remains up-to-date with best practices in early learning, especially in our diverse Miami community.

Our teacher-to-child ratios vary based on the age group. They are consistently lower than the maximum ratios permitted by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), ensuring more individualized attention and care.

• In Baby Nido, we maintain a ratio of 1 teacher for every 3 infants.
• In Nido (young toddlers), the ratio is approximately 1 teacher for every 5 children.
• In our 2's, 3's, and 4's classrooms, we provide a ratio of 1 teacher for every 7 children.

These smaller ratios reflect our commitment to high-quality early childhood education and personalized learning in a nurturing environment.

We believe in open, transparent communication and view families as essential partners. With our open-door policy, the KLA app, classroom emails, parent events, and our active parent-led PAK group, families stay closely connected to their child’s experience. When parents see our daily practices up close and hear specific details, it builds trust, helping them understand our philosophy and feel confident in our care. Listening carefully and respecting each family’s priorities is key to that connection.
